The flaw in this case is with our eyes. Although the number of "corners" becomes infinite, they are still not following the optimal path (ie a smooth circle). However, we can no longer distinguish the difference visually, leading us to more easily dismiss the possibility of a difference geometrically.
In other words: out of sight, out of mind. |
